What we expect from you:

  • Create tests to identify software problems
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests and in partner systems
  • Document results of tests for the software development team
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience 
  • Work together with software developers to reproduce problems and give them a hard time over regressions encountered
  • Conduct Load, Soak, and Performance testing
  • Keep DevOps team updated with release notes, known issues, and new Runbooks

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience in software development lifecycle and testing
  • Experience with Python, XML, Bash, Java
  • Experienced in test tools, including: Postman, cucumber, and Mocha, among others
  • Proficient in test automation
  • Good knowledge of Linux OS and tools
  • Excellent experience  testing end-to-end systems running on mobile devices with backend services
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Likes to break things 

Highly-desired qualifications:

  • Good Android and iOS experience
  • Experience in financial industry standards, transactional components of the ecosystem, such as payment gateways, switches, ISO8583, etc.
  • Experienced in AWS services with proven track record of sound cloud architecture
